Hi,

The printer wont connect wireless or wired.

Wired

The green and orange status lights keep blinking every 5s or so. On the printer it shows connecting for a brief period and then says not connected.

There is nothing wrong with the Ethernet cable as when I connect my laptop to this Ethernet cable i am connected to the network.

Wireless

My issue is what is described in this post:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-Connected-Mobile-Printing-and-Cloud-Printing/Printer-will-not-conne...

Unfortunately the solution is to have a wired connection in order to change a setting to get the wireless to work.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to fixed the Wired connection by doing the following:

  1. Disable IPv6
  2. Change Link Speed from Auto to 100TX-Full

For wireless connection, if your router supports both 2.4 and 5ghz communication, set a separate SSID for the 2.4Ghz channel of the router and connect the printer only to the 2.4Ghz channel.
