Bought my printer in Hong Kong and moved to London. Tried to instal new cartridge 205A to replace 204A only for error message "Incompatible black cartridge." Supplier to cartridge advised contact HP to have local settings changed and 205A would be accepted. Phone no. provided by HP [edited] doesn't work!?
How do I change regional settings and if I do, will remaining three colour toners - all 204A - stop working?

Hi,
You would need to contact HP in the UK to reset the printer for yoru region, but for that, you must have a full set of genuine HP HP 205A Black, Cyan, Yellow and Magenta cartridges installed, you cannot replace the black cartridge only.

Not sure does it work for laserjets, works for inkjet printers. It's worth a try.
