Hi All,

 

We are seeing below Vulnerability for printers

Vulnerability:

EOL/Obsolete Software: SNMP Protocol Version Detected

 

Recommendations:

Disable or remove SNMPv1/2c authentication. Use SNMP version 3 authentication
SNMPv3 provides additional security features:
Confidentiality - Encryption of packets to prevent snooping by an unauthorized source.
Integrity - Message integrity to ensure.

 

Can someone please guide me what steps i need to take to fix the issue..

Which models of JetDirect, some of the older models may not offer SNMPV3. It would appear that cards starting with the 610N have firmware available to support SNMPV3. You can install HP Web JetAdmin that should allow you to make the required settings on the cards.
