HP Laserjet 2035
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I need a new cartridge and my HP Laserjet P2035 needs CE505 A or X.  When checking new cartridges the CE505A or X states it is for a HP Laserjet 2055.  Is it safe to buy a CE505 cartridge when the box shows for a 2055, while my printer is a 2035.

Thanks a bunch,  Uncle Dewey

Hi,

I believe they are compatible because HP 05A (or CE505A) is compatible for the following printers

The only thing may cause problems is the chip and toner cartridges for older printers do not have chips.

Regards.
