HP LaserJet Pro 1606DN
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does anyone have direct link to download full installation package for HP LaserJet Pro 1606DN for Windows 10 64-bit? I saw it on HP website a few weeks ago but it has been taken it down. Certificate of built-in driver expired and can't not be installed.

Thanks,

Tan

@TanNT

Hello,

Please use the following basic driver to install your printer (it is designed for Windows 8.1, but can work very well with Windows 10):

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL32433/bi-83409-4/LJP1100_P1560_P1600-HB-win64-en.exe

Sorry but only the basic driver is available for your printer.

Do not hesitate to solicit us if needeed.

Best regards,

@Mans Thank you for the link. That exe doesn't work. It prompts me to user HP Small Install (which does not work).

@TanNT, please download and install the HP UPD PCL5 driver below, it should work just fine with a P1606 printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/UPD/hp-upd-6.1.0.20062/upd-pcl5-x64-6.1.0.20062.exe

For USB connection select USB Mode - Plug and Play, be sure not to plug the USB till the installation ask to do so.

For network connection select Traditional mode and then add the printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname.

Print a Configuration report to locate its IP address by pressing and holding the Go / Resume button till the power light starts blinking.
