hp laserjet pro 200 color mfp m276nw

I've taken photos of 4 prints from a laserjet pro 200 color mfp m276nw.

The first one printed the best, with just a few smudges.

All others had major smears and streaks. How do I get rid of those?

Toner is getting onto the Image Transfer Belt (ITB) because the toner catridges are faulty.  Anything on the ITB may fall onto or get attracted to the paper as it passes by.

You are free and welcome to attempt to clean the ITB if you like.  However, if your cartridges continue to leak onto them then the problem will return in relatively few prints.

In my opinion swapping cartridges is an easier solution to try first.  Since you have two of the same model try swapping the cartridges and seeing if the probelm follows the catridge from one printer to another.  That would verify if the problem is the ITB or the catridges.

Swap the black toner cartridge.  Looks like you got a dud.

This happened on a second printer, same model.  I found, and followed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC7BsdB3b48, not much change.

Think it's the same thing, a cartridge issue?

It was the cartridges, thank you.
