@Mhazan, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps!

I'm having this same issue. I've tried all the steps in this thread.  My printer is not seen on the network and if I try to connect to it with a USB cable my computer does not even see the printer.  I'm not sure what caused this issue.  No hardware was changed.  Envy Photo 7855.
I'm not the only user of this printer. I asked if someone tried to update the firmware and someone did try to update the firmware but doesn't remember if it was successful or if they printed after the update.

@TEJ1602 I would like instructions on a full reset and reinitialization please!  For my envy photo 7855.

I followed the suggested steps to correct this. Removed the power cord and USB cord from printer. Pressed power button for 30 seconds. Plugged back in and no luck...can't get by the fourth dot. Removed the ink cartridges and still stuck. Reinserted cartridges and nothing. Now what? This printer is less than a month old. It worked for awhile, but now this happens.

@piabobcat, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Are you able to access the home screen of the printer?

Does the buttons on the printer respond? If yes, we can perform a factory reset on the printer.

If not, this is a hardware issue. Please contact our HP Support team for Service Options as it could be a possible hardware issue:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
