Ran out of black ink

color ink used as alternative, maybe 5 pages

Installed new HP 950 cartridge,

message is: "Ink Cartridged, Depleted, Must be be replaced"

Got a second one, same message

 

Inspected carfridege

Did a hard restart

Searched for support

 

Help!!  I need to print.

Which exact cartridge have you replaced?

 

What is the exact error message?

 

What cartridges are marked as depleted? it will be shown at a colored sign below the error. does it show K, C, M or Y? what colors appears below the error message?

I found the answer.  Ran out of black.  mix colors to simulate black on 8610

 

result: color cardridge depleated, not the black one
