After I changed the black toner of my CP1025NW, every page out of the printer has a thick blank line down the middle regardless of print color. I tried reinstalling the old toner back into the printer, but it did not return to normal. I have gone through all the other troubleshooting options for print quality issues, none of which helped.

Can you please provide a picture of the printout ?
Does the toner come off of the line if you swipe a finger thru it.
If it does not come off the paper, its definetly the drum unit.
- Open the print cartridge door.Figure : Open the print cartridge door
- Open the front cover.Figure : Open the front cover
- Lift the two levers that hold the imaging drum.Figure : Lift the imaging drum levers
- Remove the old imaging drum.Figure : Remove the imaging drum
There you will see a shiny roller, the line must be there. If so... replace it.
