Product: cp1525nw
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Printer says "Firmware corrupt ready 2 download". Cannot find any link to a firmware updater for MacOS 10.15 to repair this issue. Can you please provide an appropriate link?

I have never seen a MAC based solution for this issue. Any chance you can have a friend with a Windows based machine as the instructions to fix the error though windows are plentiful. I am not saying there is not a MAC way and likely if you are savvy with manually assigning USB ports in Apple OS it could be done.

There definitely used to be a Firmware Updater for Mac, but this only runs on 32bit capable OS's.

MacOS 10.15 Catalina no longer supports 32 bit apps and I cannot find any 64bit firmware updater on the HP website.
