Hello,

 

I lost my admin password for the HP Device Toolbox.

I changed my router wifi settings, but now I can't change the password on the printer.

When i re-install or open the webpage of the HP Device Toolbox it is asking for the password.

How to do a full factory reset of LaserJet MFP M28-M31?

is there a reason you don't just post the solution. I mean really. I had to create an account, then confirm my email, then log in, create a username and password, then return to the thread and RE ASK THE SAME QUESTION FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME. its ridiculous. the process should be public info. so again.  how do I accomplish a hard reset on my hp m28 LaserJet. I do not have access to it via wifi.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Hi, may I please get instructions on how to factory reset the MFP M28-M31? I changed my wifi password and wasn't aware of the absolute havoc I would be unleashing when attempting to change the network password on this printer. Why in the world is this so difficult?
