HP 2600n network connection not working

HP Recommended
HP Color LaserJet 2600n
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have had this printer for some time. It once worked via a LAN cable but now only via USB. I have swapped the cable and also tried different sockets on the router but it always makes the status led on the router go amber instead of the normal green.

I'm guessing the LAN bit is faulty inside the printer. Is it easy to replace/fix?

Many thanks for any help provided.

Well, even more searching found the answer it seems. For whatever reason I had to specify the IP for the printer. I used Advanced IP Scanner (not a plug, just a fact) to find the printer on my network, then put that in to printer's properity window. She's working again. No faulty hardware at all, just some random software glitch I guess.
