Goodness. After I first purchased my laser jet, I went on line and got support because my B&W option went away.  As a consequence, I know have 3 of the same printer drivers installed.  Somewhere along the line the connection to the wireless printing options went wrong and are disabled or not performing as well as the scanning option.  I'd like to find solutions to:

1.  Getting rid of the superfluous drivers

2.  Driver fixes, scanning and wireless

I'm out of warranty but separate to resolve and I'm working home based and need these features urgently.  It would be nice, since the technician from HP did a log-in session and installed those drivers to be able to fix this mess.  How can I reach a human to fix their foul ups?

@GINGERGETZ, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that you have issues with printing and scanning, not to worry we have got your back. Follow the steps in sequence to resolve the issue-

Firstly, uninstall all the HP Printer drivers. Refer to the document HP Printers - Uninstalling HP Printer Software (Mac)  for help. The document will also provide you steps to install new software, I'd recommend you not to install anything after the uninstallation is complete.

Ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

Update printer firmware

Update software on Mac

Remove and add the printer

Click the Apple menu, and then select System Preferences.

Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.

Click the name of your printer, click the Minus sign, and then delete the printer.

Select printer and click the minus sign

Click the Plus sign, and then click Add Printer or Scanner.

Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select AirPrint

Select AirPrint from the Use menu

Click Add to add the printer to the list.

Try to print.

For scanning help, refer to the document HP Printers - How to Scan (Mac).

Keep me posted for further assistance.
