HP Deskjet 4650
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When installing the print driver from the HP website there was a message that the version of Internet Explorer is not supported or something to the effect.

The computer is a new ACER laptop with Windows 10 which includes Windows Edge as its internet browser.

Greetings @GeorgeMiles,

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are facing an issue where you are unable to install the drivers for your printer, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Do you have any other browser installed on your computer?

If the computer is new, recommend you make sure all the Windows updates are installed.

Recommend you download and install the driver from this link

Once the setup is downloaded, run the setup and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup of your printer.

Note: power on the printer only when the setup prompts you to connect the printer.

Please click here for the user manual of your printer.

Let me know if this helped.

I downloaded the deskjet 6980 printer driver and then was able to set up ePrint which is now working so that I can print.  Thank you for your reply.
