HP LaserJet Pro MFP M26nw
iOS

Just bought a new HP Laser Jet Pro MFP. Have it all set up and working wirelessly from my laptop - but if I try to print from my iphone or ipad, the printer doesn't even appear as an option.

Anyone have troubleshooting tips - and please, keep the tips simple or walk me through the steps....I'm not a techie.

Thanks!

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are unable to print from iPhone or iPad on HP LaserJet Pro MFP M26nw Printer. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

  1. On your printer, make sure the wireless feature is on, and the printer is connected to your local wireless network.

Some printers have a wireless icon  and a blue light on the front of the printer. Make sure the light is on and not blinking, if your printer has a wireless icon.

  2. On your Apple iOS device, open the Wi-Fi settings and make sure you are connected to the same local wireless network as your printer.

  3. Open the document, photo, email, or webpage you want to print, then tap the Share icon  or  to display the menu options.

  4. Tap Print or the Print icon , depending on the type of file you want to print.

    The Printer Options menu displays.

  5. On the Printer Options menu, tap Select Printer.

A list of available printers on the network displays.

  6. Select your printer, change print settings if necessary, then tap Print.

Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers.

Have completed all of those steps already. I can print wirelessly from my laptop but on all devices, the printer doesn't show as an available printer.

Make sure the printer and iPad are connected to the same wireless network.

Yes, they are connected to the same wireless.

When I try to print from a mobile device, it says "No AirPrint Printers Found".

But the printer shows as a separate item on available wifi list - HP Print C7 Laser. But, of course, if I switch to it then it says "No Internet Connection".

Everything works perfectly when printing wirelessly from laptops.

Thanks for the response.

I understand the issue better.

Install HP app and use this app to print without any issue.

Click here and refer the document to download and to know how to use the app.

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers.

That helps somewhat - but still unable to print an email?

Seriously - every other cheap wireless printer I've had has worked seamlessly, but the more expensive model is the one that you're required to find workarounds to make it useful?

Hi,

just found this post because I've exactly the same issue.

I just bought a Laserjet Pro MFP M26nw, I've installed it today.

I manage to print from my IMac (wireless connection).

But I can't print with my Iphone.

They're all connected to the same wifi network.

I tried both solutions :

- I activated the "wireless direct" mode, so my iphone sees the printer like a wifi network, but when I connect this network and try to print I got the message "No Airprint printer found"

- If I connect to my usual wifi network and try to print something, I got the same message.

Is this printer working with Airprint or not ?
