Hi

 

I currently own an HP Laserjet Pro MFP M28a and i need to connect it to ethernet to share it accross the network with my iPad. I've been looking for a JetDirect or print server that is specifically compatible with this model, to no avail. Nearest thing is the JetDirect 2900nw, but it doesn't list compatibility.

 

Has anibody tested this scenario? Is there any print server that works with this model (scanner, print and all) and has airprint?

Hi,

There are no HP Jetdirect servers that support the HP Laserjet M28a printer, as a lower-end Laserjet printer, it is much more limited.

 

You may try the 3rd party PrinterShare application, it may allow sharing the printer from your Windows PC with your iPad:

http://printershare.com/download-windows.sdf
