HP desk jet 2675 printing only outlines

HP deskjet 2675

Hi, I have HP deskjet ink advantage 2675 printer. It is printing only the outlines and not printing the letters correctly. The ink levels are sufficient as checked on HP smart app. How to fix the printer? I'm printing from phone via WiFi. I would really appreciate any help on this.

@Namana, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
  • Press and hold the Cancel button  for 3 seconds. Printer Status Report prints.

If the printer is able to make a copy and print a test report, this could be an issue with the HP Smart app. Reinstall the app.

Hi, I tried the steps you had suggested:

1. Making a copy: The Same issue persists. Only outline is printed when I use the color copy and a blank page comes when I use the black copy.

2. Pressing "X" cancel button for status print: the entire sheet is blank except for few brackets and 3 small lines in color. Photo attached.

Also, the assignment page doesn't have any black colored lines or any text, but only blue lines.

The ink levels on printer shows full for black ink and 2 lines for color print.

Please suggest on what I could do to fix the printer.

Perform steps 10 and 13 from this document and then try printing. If the issue persists, this could be a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
