Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to update firmware on my HP1102W. I downloaded the "firmware update" posted on the website 

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-p1102-printer-series/4110394/model/...

My printer current firmware date is 20180301

The update says the date should be 20180815

After running the update - it only installs software on my PC - Printer firmware is never updated.

Is there some update software anywhere that really works?

Apologies for the inconvenience. I have checked the link and the file present is not a firmware update but the printer software. I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
