My Printer sees two networks, because i have one beam at 5GHz, while one is at 2.4GHz.

How can i get it set up while not having to cut one beam, since the 5G is better for security (but my kids devices can often only use 2.4)??

Hi,

Do you have a unique name for each wireless band or is it the same SSID for both?

The printer shows networks available nearby, you should connect it to the required SSID.

A dual-band router allows to devices connected to different bands to talk with each other if this is not the scenario I suggest contacting your router service provider, the router is the component required to bridge between both bands when properly set.

While this device has 5G capability, keep in mind that it still only supports N series protocols. We have had a lot of issues with devices that do not support current  5G A/C protocol not connecting well to 5G. Our current recommendation is to force the printer to connect to the 2.4 wireless only and to have separate SSIDs for 2.4 and 5.
