HP LaserJet 200 color M251nw

Unit prints fine but final discharge roller shuts off a few inches short of completely discharging the printed page, shutting the unit down and giving a paper jam error. The printed page is easily pulled from the final roller and is in perfect condition. No other papers are involved since the unit will shut down even when only one sheet is loaded to the paper feed tray. There have been no changes made coincidently to the unit to cause this problem.  The belt and rollers were cleaned after problem started to no avail. Just need to know if it is a simple fix that I can do at home.

This condition can be caused by improper paper size settings such as A4 when letter size paper is loaded. Make sure that the tray settings for paper size on the printer itself match the paper that is loaded. Also make sure that when you are printing that the software is asking for the correct size of paper.
