Laser Jet pro MFP M281
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi, I am new to this community.

I bought my HP printer ( Laser Jet pro MFP M281)  on 03/3/2019 .  They told me at the store that I will be able to print 4000 pages, so the ink will last for about two years. I have printed 1428 pages and there are only 50 pages remaining.  Is that correct?

It really depends on what you are printing. Page yields are based on 5% coverage which is equivalent to printing a page of double spaced text. If you are printing graphics and pictures your actual yield will be less as coverage in those situations could be 70% or more.

However, the standard 202 A cartridges are rated for 1300 pages for colors and 1400 for black and that is what would have shipped with the printer.

I obviously cannot answer for the variance
