Product: LJ MFP M281cdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Attempted to update firmware to version 20190716 using the file and installer downloaded from the HP Support page. Installer completed successfully but printer displays:

 Ready 2 Download

 fw is corrupt

 

Attempted a hard reset (Disconnect power for >60 seconds, reconnect power, turn on printer while pressing lower right corner of display). Display changed to blank white screen and then back to the original error message as noted above.  What, if anything, should we try next?
