HP LaserJet E87640DN

My HP LaserJet E87640DN has a recurring issue where it displays error messgae as follows :-

"66.80.36

Open and close the stapler

If the message does not disappear, turn off the product, then turn it on.

If the message occurs again, record the message and contact the service provider

And after fixing this issuer it re appears a few minutes later and will keep doing it. I have tried to contact HP and am getting nowhere. Does anyone know about this error or a way to fix this?

These are advanced machines and supposed to sold with a support contract to ensure that when issues like this arise you have resources to get it fixed. That said, this error is related to the stapler motor JC90-01342A. If you have performed all diagnostics and still get the error then the motor will need to be replaced.
