LaserJet M15w keeps getting paper jams, any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

HP Recommended

I need help!  I bought a HP LaserJet M15w printer and it won't print because the paper keeps getting stuck.  I have tried everything to fix it to my knowledge and have been unsuccessful.

@KaraLaura, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Are you using US letter-size sheets to print?

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve paper jam issues.

Also, clean the paper pick rollers as shown here.

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

Update the printer firmware

Try printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
