Requirements:

- LaserJet printer

- capability to handle 4 separate paper trays, not including the bypass

- portable(needs to move to different locations over time)

Purpose:

Emergency reporting - each tray of paper will hold different color sheets of paper.  The print job needs to be setup to allow the same report print on each color sheet of paper.  Think of dot matrix style carbon copy printouts.  Looking for the end result of a single page print job to have 4 different color copies.  I know I can do this with a photocopier but they require this to be portable to setup for emergency situations.

Any suggestions or ideas on how to accomplish this task.

Thanks in advance.

AJ

The smallest printer HP makes that would allow for 4 input trays would be the M507. Printing the same page 4 times, once from each tray, would be something you would need a programmer to develop or source software. The HP driver does not allow this type of job control.
