Hello:

 

has anyone have listened a grinding noise when printer is turned on, if so is there any possible fix?... any information is much appreciated.

It could be one of your toner cartridges. Does it make the noise when you open and close the front cover as it checks itself? If yes, remove all of the toner cartridges and close the door. Does it still make the noise?

 

If yes, then you have something within the engine mechanics causing the problem, could be the fuser or transfer belt or something else, hard to be sure which.

If No, then start putting in each toner cartridge one at a time and closing the door to see which one causes the noise. Replace the defective cartridge.

There are component tests build into this product. On the control panel go to administration>troubleshooting>diagnotics tests>component test.
