Laserjet pro M225DW Scanner Error 16 ---please help

Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

My printer screen showed up the "Scanner Error 16" and I tried all the solutions from community but did not work. The only way is to use NVRAM reset procedures. Would you please provide the procedures?

Thank you very much for the information. After I did the reset,  it stop on initializing. Do you know how to solve this problem?

It still not working. The firmware could not update if the printer stuck on "Initializing".

This seems to be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
