Common problems for Connectivity Issues

Hi, We have a Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw (product T6B82A) that is connected to our business network using a wired connection. The printer works fine for a while then it goes offline. Whenever this happens, I check the network status on the printer and it says the cable is not connected. The only way for it to recognize the cable is connected is to power off the printer and power it back on. We have to do this multiple times a day. I have turned off WiFi & Wi-Fi Direct. Because of problems with installing the printer on Windows 10, we used the IP address to connect. I have configured the IPv4 configuration in the web interface to Manual with a static IP address. And the router is configured to assign the printer's MAC address to the same IP address. The wireless connection is even more unreliable so we have stopped trying to use wireless. Any suggestions? Thank you!

There have been some compatibility issues with some network hardware and you may need manually configure the network settings on the printer to 100 network speed and half duplex for communication.

Thanks! When you say, "manually configure the network settings on the printer to 100 network speed and half duplex " are these settings somewhere in the printer's web interface. I have looked at all of the printer's settings in the web interface and I cannot find these settings anywhere. The printer is connected to a 5-port gigabit switch and shares its intranet connection with a computer.
