You either have a bad cartridge or a failing transfer belt. Remove the cartridges and examine them closely.  If there is visible damage to the drum units or a loose toner then you probably have a bad cartridge. While you have the cartridges out look at the grey belt under them. If it has obvious marks that line up with the lines on the page that can be a sign or transfer belt issues. If the printer is not that old I would lean towards a cartridge issue.
