MacBook Pro No longer connects to Printer

HP Recommended
Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277DW
macOS 10.15 Catalina

With the pandemic hitting, we left our home and spent a couple of months at a family cabin that had a different HP printer.  Now coming back, my laptop will not find the printer.  Even after downloading HP Easy Start and connecting through USB it won't find it either.  I also deleted it from the network and then added the printer again and tried to enter the WiFi code a zillion times and the printer says that the code is incorrect.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi @billafish

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

  • Have you tried connecting any other devices to the same network using the password?
  • Are you trying to connect the printer to a guest network or a private network?
  • Wireless password is case sensitive, make sure you enter it as it is.
  • It can be found on the router or you may contact your Internet service provider.
  • To know how to connect the printer to the wireless network, kindly refer to this document.
  • You may also use the WPS method to connect the printer if it does not accept the wireless password.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
