Dear All

Good Afternoon.

I have just change a new printer M501dn, but I know that I can not printer SOME mainframe printing, I try to use the software mini lpd to capture the traffic from the mainframe and it can capture successfully, I try to change the captured bin file and change the .cht files, then print using the printer console, it can print in the correct format.

Print port : 515

Print Type : LPD

 

1. Do anyone know what problem or setting will cause it?

2. Do the printer can capture the traffice to do the dialogtic?

3. The printing can not print is SOME form add the format, do any timeout setting and size limitation in the printer (the bin file that I capture with minilpd is not bigger than 1M, so the traffice should not large than 1M.)

4. Do the printer has some lpd print option?
