Congratulations!

I am sorry to be the bearer of unfortunate news:

The printer cannot handle the media (type of paper) - the paper is too heavy for the printer.

Thank you so much for your response. So basically the max A4 sheet of GSM cardstock I can use is 90?

2. Edits - remove extraneous content

@ShlomiL  has confirmed the card weights and sizes:

Envy 5020 support 163 up to 200 gsm cards media

and

Cards media  (76.2 up to 216 mm wide, 127 up to 594mm long) (3 to 8.5 inches wide X 5 to 23 inches long)

3. MORE Edits

OK - Specifications do say this printer can print up to 23 inches in length.

Media sizes, custom (metric)
76.2 x 127 to 216 x 594 mm
Media sizes, custom (U.S. standard)
3 x 5 to 8.5 x 23.38 in

Surprised !  😲

So, the original question is answered:  260 gsm paper does not work, is not supported.

As to the rest, I would guess the A4 paper can be used if at the proper weight maximum.

HP Document:

HP Printers - Creating Custom Paper Sizes

Specifications, in spite of the paper size confusion, also states:

Maximum print area (metric)
215 x 355 mm
Maximum print area (U.S. standard)
8.5 x 14 in

OK

Assuming the card paper you want to use is within the weight tolerances for the printer (163-200 gsm),

IF the card paper size list is not already shown as including A4,

and

The printer software supports the Custom Paper size feature:

Create a Custom Paper Size form

A4 measures 210 × 297 millimeters or 8.27 × 11.69 inches

Else

Use "known to be" weight friendly Hp Brochure paper

Use a supported size or add a Custom Paper Size form

Original Content

"Index" Card paper at a maximum of 200 gsm is very much like Brochure paper.  For example, HP Brochure paper is 180 gsm.  Brochure paper is heavy  enough to fold and "stand up".  Brochure paper is not "actual card" weight, though, and does not have the "heft" of expensive stationary.  "Index" card paper at 200 gsm would have similar qualities.

If you want to be sure, have the invitations printed professionally.

Option

If there is any room for being more casual, try using Brochure matte or glossy paper in the standard size for your region (Letter in the US and A4 in Europe and other regions).

Right-Click on Printer

If necessary, select printer name

Hi,

To clarify, the maximum media weight for card supported by your printer is 200 gsm, consumer inkjet HP printers such as the Envy 5020 support 163 up to 200 gsm cards media,

From the matter of media size, any supported size is supported for Cards media too (76.2 up to 216 mm wide, 127 up to 594mm long)

594 mm is 23 inches long.

Maybe 355 mm instead?  (14 inches long - ADF max length in Datasheet).
