LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I  bought LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw yesterday, and started configuring it today. I set up the https and firewall successfully.

Then I set the administrator password. Now I am logged out from the browser UI and the password I entered, is not accepted in the login (Yes - it is the same I gave when I set it).

How do I do factory reset?

Thanks,

Found the solution with some googling and trial and error, so I was able to factory reset.

I also noticed what was wrong with password - my password manager created 32 characters, but only 16 are accepted by the management console.

Ps. If someone has similar problems, pm me and I'll share the way to reset.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Go to the Setup menu>service menu>Restore defaults.

Let me know if this helps.
