Mobile Scan - HP Laserjet Pro MFP m126nw

Hi,

I have a HP Laserjet Pro MFP m126nw Model Printer. I have connected it to the WiFi Network and has paired it to my mobile using HP Smart App.

I am able to print documents using the mobile, but not able to Scan the documents using the Flatbed Scanner on the machine.

Earlier I was able to scan the documents to mobile but recently it is not working.

Selecting both Scan & Preview options on Mobile app doesn't do anything. I am not seeing any error as well.

 

I know that my printer model supports Mobile Scanning as it worked earlier. 

Can anyone please let me know if I need to tweak any settings/options ? Please help

 

PS: I tried uninstalling the app and clearing the cache/data of the App as well. Nothing helped.

 

Printer Model : HP Laserjet Pro MFP 126nw

Mobile App Version : 7.3.151

Android Version : Android 10

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

Did you check if you are able to make a stand-alone copy?

 

Meanwhile,Check the scanner bar functionality: partially lift the scanner lid, and then press the Copy button or icon. If the scanner light does not illuminate or move across the glass.

Hi Sandy,

 

I am able to copy by placing the paper on the Flatbed and pressing the Copy Button 

I also checked for the scanner bulb by partially lifting the lid and pressing the Copy Button. The scanner bulb has light up and moved across the flatbed.

 

But I am still not able to copy using the Hp Smart Mobile application.

Uninstall and reinstall the HP smart app on your mobile.
