Product: CP1518ni
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

My CP1518ni printer needs cleaning, it leaves little spots or dots of ink on my printouts.  Since HP has not seen fit to product a Macintosh version of ToolboxFX,I and looking for other ways to clean the printer.... and suggestions?

@Jack_J, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

Since there is no toolbox available for Mac Operating System, I'd suggest you connect the printer to a Windows PC and carry out the cleaning if available. Also, refer to the User Manual from pages 108 to 116 for print quality-related troubleshooting steps.

 

If the issue is not resolved, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding further course of action.
