Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I can not locate the original username and password to my printer, so I am unable to update my network password on the printer.

I also put the IP address into my web browser and tried logging in with admin and admin as password but that did not work.

I have heard there is a way to reset this?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Print a configuration page to determine the IP address or host name. i. Press and hold the Resume/Cancel button until the Ready light begins blinking. ii. Release the Resume/Cancel button. b. Open a web browser, and in the address line, type the IP address or host name exactly as it displays on the printer confiJurDtLon page. Press the Enter key on the computer keyboard. The EWS opens. NOTE: If the web browser displays a message indicating that accessing the website might not be safe, select the option to continue to the website. Accessing this website will not harm the computer. 2. Go to the Service tab. 3. In the Restore Defaults area, click the Restore defaults button. The printer automatically restarts.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
