HP Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I had the depleted message for Magenta. I bought z10 951 combo-pack on Oct 18 2017 with Warranty: June 2019

Just installed the Magenta today and I still get the depleted message.

I have tried power off and on plus the "hard reset" suggested in another post. I am unable to get past that message to clean the printheads.

Hi @Geoff_PP,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are facing issues with your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer wherein you get an error message that the magenta cartridges are depleted even after replacing it with a new one.

This could be an issue with the cartridge.

I suggest that you remove all cartridges and then turn off the printer and then turn it on. Check the missing cartridges error by installing the cartridges one by one.
