Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479 dfw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a Color LaserJet MFP M479dfw today. Everything is working fine, but the printer makes a  "soft bumping" sound when printing, about 1-2 times per second, very steady timing to the "bumps". I was wondering if this is normal?

Color LaserJet printers tend to be noisy due the number of moving components.  If the sound is not unbearable then I suggest it is likely normal.

Thanks. It is not loud or objectionable, I just didn't recall the one in my department at work making this sound. Although a home environment is quieter so I would likely notice more...
