Product: CP5220n
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My A3 colour laser CP5220n keeps reporting Cyan toner as low.  Replaced with new toner, and did it to new toner of less than week.  All others are ok.  I got replacement chip from Aliexpress 307a CE741a, but did not reset.  Is there likely to be a machine fault that is "corrupting" counter chip? Not a high volume of prints but really need all colours to function

Was the first replacement toner OEM or 3rd party? More likely bad knockoff chips than a problem with the printer.

All toner have been HP.  Only tried putting a reset chip into a HP Toner I know is near full
