Driver Availability

For the HP LaserJet P1005, HP officially provides drivers only up to macOS 12 (Monterey). Unfortunately, there are no HP-certified drivers for macOS Sequoia (15.x) or later versions. This is because the printer is considered a legacy model, and HP has ended development for newer macOS releases.

Even though HP doesn’t offer drivers for macOS 15.x, you still have options:

• Use AirPrint or Generic Drivers: macOS often includes built-in support for basic printing.
