Product: HP OfficeJet 4620
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I can print a test page using the Utility program.  When I immediately attempt to print a document, system states "Printer off line, or Printer not connected.

Sometimes I find that if the printer was installed using a WSD port, it doesn't report the printer status correctly sometimes. If yours is using a WSD port instead of an IP address, try changing it to an IP address or reinstall using an IP address instead of WSD. I'm not sure how viable that is using MacOS's.
