Printer stuck on initialising loop

I have a brand new HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw which is stuck on a loop, restarting at the initialise phase.

I have read other posts with people having the same problem.

I have turned the printer off, disconnected the power cord from both the printer and the wall for a long time, and the same thing keeps happening.

How do I perform a hard reset of this printer?  If that doesn't work I will have to return it.
