Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

Once done, please download and install the software from here:

Try to isolate the problem down by detecting if the printer is triggering the print jobs on its own or if it is receiving the jobs from something it is connected to.

Disconnect the printer from the network and USB cable. Let it sit for 24-48 hours.  If it prints a random page with nothing connected to it then you know its something on the printer, possibly firmware or maintenance related.  If it does not print during this time then you know something is triggering a job and sending it to the printer.

Should you discover that something is sending the job to the printer then you need to further isolate down what has access to the printer.  If you are connected via USB cable then the isolation work is complete, only the USB connected printer cna send jobs to the printer.  If you are connected via network then anything on that network can send jobs to the printer and you you can try something different.

For network isolation testing, change the IP address of the printer and install it correctly on one PC at a time.  Let the printer sit for a while and observe if a job is queued on its own or not.  Since only one PC is installed you know the job has to have come from that machine and can begin the cleanup process.  Rinse and repeat until all connected machines are tested.
