(Pro MFP M281) -- Can't install FAX driver via USB. Only installs WiFi printer & fax, or no fax.

Installed the software for this printer and have a direct fax line connected to the printer.  I ran all the tests for the fax and they came back successful stating I should be able to send a fax.  When I click in the HP Printer Assistant, and choose the option to send fax, it does nothing.  I then check the drivers under the control panel and I see that the fax driver is missing.  I believe this is the problem but I haven't come across a solution yet.   Any help would be appreciated.

Have you installed a full package software driver? The basic driver doesn't install the fax.

Yes I installed the full package.  After a few reboots and a few attempts at uninstalling and reinstalling the Fax appeared in Windows, although, the HP Printer Assistant software did not load back onto the computer, even though I chose to install all options.  Must be some bug with the software install package and one of the latest Windows 10 updates.  I was able to fax using different software, although would have preferred to Fax through the HP Printer Assistant.
