Regionalization Reset HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m

Dear community I need your help because I was forced to buy 364 cartridges in other region because the 178 cartridges no longer appears in my region.

 

Now my printer is showing me the "incompatible ink cartridge" message. During my researchs I found that the solution is to request a region change but I was unable to get help on this issue with HP Virtual Agent.

 

Please help me!

What country are you located in?

 

HP 178 cartridges are intended for your printer for the Middle East, Russia.

 

HP 364 cartridges are intended for use in Western European countries.

 

have you moved with your printer to another country?

I’m in Angola

in Africa as well.

 

HP 364 cartridges are intended for use in Western European countries.

yes I bought them in Portugal because they are “compatible” or at least is what is writen in the box and on hp web site.

 

have you moved with your printer to another country?

No, I’m still in Angola but bought the cartridges 364 in Portugal because couldn’t find 178 there and in Angola.
