HP Laserjet 477 FDN

Dear All,

I am currently having an issue with an HP laserjet printer 477 fdn. In fact, we have recently changed the cartridge but unfortunately, it is still printing black mark. It's already 3.5 years since we purchased this printer.

Based on a recent intervention from the supplier, we have been advised to change the fuser kit as they are suspecting the fault is overthere.  Cost of repairs is nearly $270.

Can you please advise if it is a good option to go ahead with the repairs or it will be better to procure a new one?

Thanks a million.

If you have a lot of extra supplies on hand then repair would make sense. Otherwise, time to look at a new machine.

If the distance between 2 marks on the paper is 57mm ( 2,24in) then it's the fuser. It depends on you is repair worth or not.

The price of new M479fdn on sale is 450 US$
