Hello,

I wanted to update my firmware and have updated my login with a password of 32 characters. It doesn't seem to work and I cannot login anymore to my printer.

How could I reset this password? what is the maximum size for the password?

I have the same issue, although I have never set a password and the default user of admin doesn't work.

Please could you get in contact with the solution please.

@James184, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset, and re-initialize the printer.
