I do not have an HP product connected to my computer but somewhere someone on the network may have one. HP Smart is forcefully and without permission nor warning installing itself repeatedly on my computers. This behaviour is despicable but exactly what I've come to expect from HP. I insist on controlling MY computers and blocking this HP Smart worm from my network. It must be removed.
1) How do I block HP Smart malware from installing on ANY of my domain computers? Group Policy Solution preferred
2) How do I forcefully uninstall HP smart from the infected computers?
3) How do I block HP Smart malware virus from entering my network in the first place?
4) How do I block install of HP Smart malware if someone makes a mistake and connects an HP printer to my network?
OS is windows 10 LTSC and Servers are Win 2012 R2
HEY HP! though I very much doubt you care, your clients don't like being done over like this.
DO NOT reply that this is not a worm or virus. I don't have an HP product yet this crap infected my system and forced itself onto multiple victims anyways. It's behaves like a worm and a virus. It is savage digital sodomy by HP.
DO NOT reply telling me that HP smart is a wonderful POS and why would I want to kill it?
DO NOT tell me that this virus adds extra functionality...all I want to do is print.

This is likely a function of the WSD function of the printer and Windows 10. Windows is as much to blame as HP is in this. Windows is out there looking for printers and the HP is saying, hey here I am. Find the IP address for the printer, log into the printer and disable WSD functions.
