My Laserjet pro 200 printer presents the following problem: if I use the scanner after the printer has been in standby mode, I get a totally unreadable scan consisting mainly of multicoloured vertical lines. To obtain a correct image, restarting the printer is necessary. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem.

In order to palliate this incident, please update the printer's firmware from the HP link below.
Refer to this document for the steps to update the printer's firmware.
