I am setting up scan to folder as I have done with 3 other printers in the office without a problem however with this new printer it is a HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M479fdw I keep receiving the same error “Incorrect credentials. Check your username/password and try again.” There is nothing wrong with the credentials it is the same credentials. I used to login to the computer also I can access the shared folder form another computer using the same credentials. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have found that often the newer printers require you to enter the user names as server\username  where server is either your domain name or the name of the workstation where the username you are using exists if this is a non-domain installation.
